It takes place on April 28th-30th, so you have just enough time to get your appetite ready for the best crawfish ever.

The Activities

What good is a crawfish festival if you can’t try to out-eat everyone? At Crawfest, you can prove your worth by joining the Crawfish Eating Contest. It has a men’s, women’s, and kids’ division, and it’s $20 to join. Pay your money and see if you can hold your own.

The festival will also have gumbo championships, a carnival, a washer toss tournament, a 5k run, and crawfish races. With so many activities, it’s a good thing there will be a lot of crawfish around. You will need to stay fueled up so you can participate in the activities.

The Music

Crawfest also has an impressive lineup of entertainers who are going to take the stage throughout the event. Listen to Kevin Fowler, Cory Morrow, Dr. Zog, and more during the event. The music will be certain to get your toes tapping.

You can get general admission or VIP tickets. Both are available as single-day tickets. If you get a VIP ticket, you will get a VIP table along with your admission.

You can also skip the lines by ordering a crawfish plate in advance. The plate comes with two pounds of crawfish, plus potatoes and corn. This is the easy way to make sure you get your fill of crawfish during the festival.

Once your belly is full of crawfish, you’ll want to slide into a comfortable vehicle and head home. You can find what you’re looking for at Nissan of New Braunfels in New Braunfels, Texas. These vehicles feel luxurious from the inside out and have all of the features you could possibly want.
