Attend The Texas Book Festival In Austin

Texas Book Festival

The Texas Book Festival is one of the biggest and most important literary events in the country every year. Therefore, if you consider yourself a bookworm (or even if you just like to read from time to time), then this is a can’t-miss event. There will be so much going on during the entirety of the festival, so you should get the info as soon as possible so you can ensure that you see everything you want to see. Before you go, get the details you need to have the best possible time. Then, get ready to see some of your favorite authors and maybe even pick up a few new books to read once you get home.

All About the Texas Book Festival

This year, the Texas Book Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, and Sunday, Oct. 27. On Saturday, you can get into the festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., but make sure you don’t go home after that. On Saturday night, you can have even more fun when you come out to the Lit Crawl Austin. Sunday’s events will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., so make sure you’re there for that, as well. It’s all taking place in and around the buildings of the State Capitol Building in the heart of Austin. Wondering how you’re going to get tickets? Don’t worry about that! This event is free to the public, so anyone can go without having to pay a dime.

Meet Your Favorite Authors

Perhaps one of the reasons why this festival is so famous is the fact that so many different authors come out to meet their fans. In fact, there will be more than 300 authors there this time. Therefore, take a look at who’s going, and see if you can meet up with one of your favorites.

Family Activities

This is an ideal festival to go to if you want to share your love of books with your little ones. And since there will be so many family-friendly activities there, even the kids will have a wonderful time.

Food Vendors

It’s easy to get so excited about books that you forget to eat, but at some point, you may want to grab something to munch on. Don’t worry about leaving the festival for that. Instead, just grab a bite to eat from one of the local food vendors.

As you can see, there is a lot going on at the Texas Book Festival. Don’t miss out!
