The Texas River Fest is Coming up This Month!

Audience with hands in the air for texas river fest

Still trying to figure out what to do the weekend of June 9th and 10th? Get ready for the Texas River Fest! This music festival is great for those who love listening to music performed live while enjoying the outdoors, and it is easy to get to. After all, it is right along the Guadalupe River and the Comal River.

Little Driving Required

Don’t worry about having to drive between the various venues for the Texas River Fest. The organizers make it easy by giving you a free shuttle service between the venues. This way, you can get from Conways to Krause’s and back without having to drive or find parking. To make life really easy, you can even stay at one of the partner hotels. If you book your room at Schlitterbahn Waterparks & Resorts, Fairfield Inn & Suites, or the Courtyard Marriott, you will be able to get complimentary round-trip transportation from Rockin’ R Rapid Transit. Just show your wristband to take advantage of it.

Texas River Fest Acts

There is a total of 10 different acts spread between Friday and Saturday night and the two venues. At Krause’s, you can listen to The O’s, John Evans Band, and the Zack Walther Band on Friday. Then, check out Cody Canada and the Departed followed by Dalton Domino on Saturday. Or, visit Conways and listen to Tony Jackson, Jerret Zoch, and Kody West on Friday. Afterward, catch Rob Baird and Chris Colston on Saturday.

Don’t miss out on the Float Friday right along the rivers either. There will be DJs and food trucks so you don’t have to plan in advance and bring a meal along. You will have to buy your float, but you get an automatic discount with your wristband. The Float will also have some giveaways. Entry begins at noon, and you can get in the water at 2 p.m. After that, you can just float along the relaxing river while listening to DJs with your friends. It should take three to four hours to make it along the route, so bring some water.

The Locations and More

If you don’t know which bands to listen to, consider checking out the two venues to make your decision. Krause’s has 80 beers on tap along with freshly-juiced margaritas. This Texas café has some German influences. Or, take advantage of the $2 draft beer at Conways for those with a wristband. Before and after the Texas River Fest, you can also take advantage of some great deals with your wristband. Many local attractions and restaurants, including Schlitterbahn, Buffalo Wings & Rings, and Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que are offering discounts with your wristband.
